Well folks, I made my trip to London on Monday, just days after the mindless morons bombed the place. My train arrived at Euston Station just after 7am, this is the next stop from Kings Cross/St. Pancras where the worst damage was done. I was wearing my iPOD shuffle with my favorite tunes on by a group called Klaatu (never heard of them I hear you say), well they are a group from the late 70's, and it was rumoured they were the Beatles experimenting with music, its different, very melodious, and at times very rocky, they arnt the Beatles, to read more, goto "http://www.klaatu.org/" (can be found on my sidebar), so go buy / download some...... Anyway, the iPOD (we acquired that by dodgy means, and I cant tell you about that, cause I might get in big trouble). So singing my songs in my head, I got on the tube to Bank, and as we passed King's Cross (didnt stop as it was still closed), I looked out of the window I suppose a bit ghoulish of me, and most of the station was boarded up, but a couple of interconnecting tunnels were only blocked by fencing, and they showed the devastation that was done, its a bloddy mess down there, that shook me up a bit, thinking I had only been on this route the previous Wednesday and Thursday, so had the bombs gone of 1 week earlier, it could have been me......
So as we continued out of the station, the music came back to me, and I happily sang along in my head (you do not want to hear me sing - really). When I got out at Bank, the streets were not particulally busy, and the niose level was quiet by normal comparison, I just couldnt believe how somber the City was.
After my appointment, I made it back to Euston, and found myself with 40 minutes to spare, and if you know the area, Transformations shop is litterally just around the corner in Eversholt street. So I decided to head there to browse the store. I still had the iPOD playing, and found myself bopping away as I strolled the street, and must have looked real funny, with my laptop bag swinging from side to side as I wiggled my ass along the road. so if your in London, and see a girly looking bloke carrying a laptop with an iPOD shuffle playing away, and wiggling his ass, please say hello and mention you read my blog. It will most dcertainly be me.

Very brave of you, and evocative description of London post-terror attack.
